The intuitive digital display provides an easy-to-follow guideline and feedback throughout the entire brewing process, helping you make your drink perfect each time. It's almost like having your own personal barista in your own home (minus Harry Potter's invisibility cloak and Elon Musk's rocket-building expertise).
If you like milky drinks this model has an adjustable steam wand in both directions to accommodate most drinking vessels short of the drinking horn of Vikings. We were also impressed by the speed and efficiency in the way that the frothing was performed. It also makes an amazing espresso with a great crema and full flavour despite its compact size.
The BCC02 is a fantastic all-rounder that's quiet, effective and provides excellent value for money at the current price of PS499. Its only real flaw is that it doesn't offer the same level customisation as other bean-to-cup machines that we have examined. Its pump is 15 bars rather than the standard 19 bars. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart comes with a variety of features that set it apart from the competition. The most distinctive feature could be the fact that it is able to be controlled from your smartphone via the Melitta Connect App. This allows you to change the settings and then dispense different coffee recipes that are stored inside the machine.
This makes the machine super flexible and adaptable to your tastes. There are plenty of options for varying the strength of your drinks and also different sizes of cups and whether or not you want to add milk. The machine is equipped with two airtight bottles of beans that are automatically chosen to suit different specialities. The machine will default to using standard espresso beans and cafe creme, a German variant of flat white or long black. But, you can select any beans you want. There's also a convenient chute for pre-ground coffee in case you'd like to make your own (for instance when that nagging dinner guest brings their own).
Users have also reported being amazed by the speed of the machine. It's faster than other machine they have ever used. Another bonus is that the machine will warn you when one of its hoppers is nearly empty, so that you aren't caught running out of your preferred beverage.
The only thing that could be a problem for some individuals is the price. This machine is priced at PS999. But, it's cheaper than comparable Jura machines with the same features.
Barista TS smart is protected by a generous two-year warranty. This is a greater warranty than the standard one-year guarantee. It is a sign of confidence on the part of the manufacturer.
